2nd Annual International Black Indigenous Circus Week ( Philadelphia, PA. )
The International Black Indigenous Circus Week is back after an incredibly successful first year, drawing attendees from the west coast, east coast, mid west, Canada and Mexico. The week centers Black and First Nation’s circus, physical theater and media artists from Turtle Island offering full length and short performances, networking, resource sharing, panels, classes, our famous “After Dark” show, family performance events and barbecue, games and scholarships. IBICW provides a collaborative anchor for other regions interested in hosting an IBICW in their area. This stellar conference is made possible through support from Philly Fringe, Cannonball, Tauraro, CSAW and Rebel Arts.
