Great question. A little bit of everything but with a focus on film culture/multi-media. We produce an annual residency with one on one mentorship, we connect people with more stable creative prospects and celebrate our community through an annual film festival. We’re also proudly part of international convenings such as the International Black Indigenous Circus week held in Philadelphia, PA every year, celebrating full and short circus and media works from around the northern continent.

This has changed a little over the years and to be honest, we’re still re-organizing given the state of American arts and educational funding right now. You can expect honorariums to be a little less than the $1200 they’ve been for artists in years past and for applicants to show they have solid financial, resource and project plans along with a track record of completing work. When we open submissions again, we’ll let all y’all know. Literally the best way to find out is to sign up for our emails and tell us you’re specifically interested in the residency. You can also follow us on the socials.

Yes, it’s really true.
